Well done to Mr Pember for having his head shaved today in support of The Osborne Trust. We think he will be asking Santa for a woolly hat for Christmas.
Last Day of Term Tomorrow
It is last day of Autumn term tomorrow, Friday 15 December at 2pm. What a fantastic term we have had too! Please wear your Christmas Jumpers. Merry Christmas everyone.
Charity Head Shave
Big thank you to parents and children who raised in excess of £700 to go towards The Osborne Trust. When this is added to Mr Gittins’ fundraising the total for them will be over £3000, which is a huge amount of money for them. Mr Pember will be doing his head shave tomorrow.
Film Club tomorrow cancelled
Film Making Club after school tomorrow, Thursday 14th, will be cancelled however will be carrying on in the Spring term for half a term. Therefore children will need to be picked up or have after school arrangements from normal time.
School Closed – Wednesday 13 December
Due to not enough staff being able to get in safely and the school site being unsafe due to compacted snow and ice, Lord Scudamore Academy will be closed tomorrow Wednesday 13 December.

Due to adverse weather conditions and the overnight freeze, we have decided that the school will be closed Tuesday 12th December. All HMFA schools will be closed tomorrow.
Storytelling from the Police
Mr. Mackie, a local police officer came to read to some of our classes this week. The children loved hearing him read a story and they had an important discussion about staying safe. Thank you very much Mr. Mackie!
