Expeditions to rainforest biomes

Year 5 are currently learning about the rainforests and recently explored several of the world’s biomes using Google Expedition.  This allows the children to become immersed in another worlds.

Coding Robotic Bees

Year 5 are learning about Lifecycles and as part of this have been learning about reproduction in plants.  5L have been building and programming bees to pollinate flowers.  They used a sensor within the bee and programmed it to stop when it reached a flower.

Film Making Club

Film Making Club are working hard on a collaborative film and on Thursday they started filming the first few scenes.

New Year’s Resolutions

Year 6 decided to set some New Year’s resolutions. They thought about areas they felt the need to work on to better themselves and to help the people around them.

Bristol Zoo Visit
