Our art topic this first half term has been about art installations. We were inspired by the Chinese installation artist Cai Guo-Qiang, who creates amazing installation pieces using gunpowder and stencils. We took inspiration from his work to create our own installation pieces, creating our own stencils and using different art medias to make our work come to life. We created the illusion of a large display space, by creating these designs in boxes and places the figures to look like they were viewing the art in a gallery. We think the final result is really impressive!! We hope you agree.
