Ancient Egypt in Year 5

Year 5 have been carrying on their Ancient Egyptian history topic this week learning all about mummification. They have been writing instructions on how to mummify within their English, but, they also got to put this into practice in their History lesson. We talked all about the preserving process, and used chemical reactions to try and mummify apples. We think they look very spooky, just in time for Halloween!
