In Year 2 this week we have really enjoyed science week.
We have learnt all about famous scientists from the past and especially focused on Amelia Earhart. We researched all about her life and put the information into a timeline.
In science, we planned an experiment that focused on the best material to fly a plane the furthest. We used paper, cardboard and tissue paper. Once we had planned our experiment, we made predictions and then conducted our test. We discovered that paper planes fly the best. We came to the conclusion that tissue paper is too light and cardboard is too heavy.
