Monday – Children will be given a book to read at home. This book (and their book bag) will stay at home until Thursday. Children will have a book at school suited to their stage and plenty of opportunity to read for pleasure.
Thursday – Children’s home book will be returned to school and changed. This book will be sent home that evening to read over the weekend and be returned on Monday.
Please be aware that the reading scheme stages in Year 1 and 2 are slightly different and reading books will be allocated accordingly.
