Peepo in Year 1

In our reading lessons we have been exploring the book Peepo.  We noticed that they have lots of objects in their house that we don’t have (including an outside toilet).  The book is set in World War 2.  We looked at the gas mask bag on daddy’s bed and Eric very proudly brought in his great grandad’s gas mask to show us all.  He even went to show Year 6 as they are learning about the war.
