This week all of the Year 4 classes got to go on an amazing trip to Hereford Cathedral to take part in the ‘Tudor Trail’. They discovered some wonderful things and even got to meet King Henry VIII and explore his private chapel. They learnt the art of calligraphy and got to write in this style using quills and ink. They even learnt about Barnabus Scudamore who is depicted in the Cathedral’s windows. They had the most fantastic time and all of the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The child were an absolute credit to the school, with members of the public and Cathedral staff commenting on how brilliant they were! Well done Year 4.Â
