This week in Art we asked the question ‘What is Art?’. We discussed lots of different sorts of art we knew of. Two visitors came into class to talk about the art they do in their spare time – Mr Pember and Dave. They showed us their drawings, paintings and models and talked to us about how art makes them feel. We drew ourselves as artists – from singers to photographers. Whilst talking about art we looked at street art following the recent Banksy piece that appeared in North London. We compared it with the local art that has appeared in Hereford and discussed which was our favourite and why.
