Boats in Year 1

In our latest forest school sessions we read the beautiful book ‘The Boat’ by Helen Ward and Ian Andrew.  The children then had to make a boat to get Petunia the pig down the river.  Most boats floated and several held Petunia for the journey.  Lots of teamwork and problem solving skills on show! Well done Year 1!
