Welsh Water

This week we have a had a visit from Jo from Welsh Water.  As part of our eco schools award we pledged to focus on saving water and learning about our rivers and seas.

Jo delivered an exciting assembly to both KS1 and KS2 and did workshops on ‘How to conserve water’ in year 5 and ‘What can go down the loo’ in Year 1.  The children thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot.

Did you know 10 litres of water can be wasted if you brush your teeth with the tap running!
