Year 1 Siege Goodrich Castle

Year 1 got stuck into their Castles topic with a trip to Goodrich Castle this week. We took a tour around the castle learning about different parts and why it is now a ruin. Some of us were very brave and took to the top of the keep before getting locked in the dungeon! None of us fancy being a gongfarmer and we learned to steer clear of the murder holes – eek.
