Forest School in Reception

Reception have been enjoying their Forest School sessions in our wonderful on-site Eco Garden.  The children have been busy pond dipping and observing tadpoles, as well as learning about birds.  They collected sticks, moss, leaves and feathers using wooden pegs (‘beaks‘) then created their own bird nests. The children also made bird feeders by coating pine cones and card tubes in lard and bird seed.  We are very much looking forward to next week’s Forest School!
