Year 1 have had a very busy week. Â It is British Science Week this week and we have been doing practical investigations and learning about the conservationist Jane Goodall. Â We discovered that if you measure the circumference of tress you can find out how old they are. We took part in a treasure hunt where we tried to work out what the magnified images are. Â In maths have been counting in 2s, 5s and 10’s. Â We played a game with beanbags where the children scored 2, 5 or 10 for each throw. Â They then counted up their score. We also composed and performed our own piece of superhero music. Â We rounded off the week with Swimming and Red Nose Day silliness.
