Hieroglyphics in Year 5

Year 5 have been continuing with their Ancient Egyptian topic. They have learnt about how the Ancient Egyptians made paper using papyrus leaves and used the method to create their own.  They have also looked at Ancient Egyptian writing using hieroglyphics and wrote their names on their paper. This was tricky but they look really effective!
