Spheros Science Investigations – Year 5

In Year 5, we have been learning about forces and carried out an investigation on water resistance using our new Spheros. We kept the time the same but changed the speed and measured the distance which the Sphero travelled in the tray of water.

Egyptian Museum Trip – Year 5

Last week, Year 5 visited the Egyptian Museum in Swansea to learn more about their topic for this term. They had the opportunity to do lots of fun activities – in the House of Death they learnt about the process of mummification and even mummified a body!

Spheros in Year 5

Class 5H had a fantastic morning on Wednesday, using the brand new Spheros in their Maths lesson. They had to use their knowledge of coding and degrees in a circle to be able to move the Spheros around a course.

Remembrance Day

Arabian Adventure

This morning the children got to see An Arabian Adventure, an interactive show, which they thoroughly enjoyed.  Some got very involved!
